The Starry Nap is a Parody Artwork derived from the infamous Starry Nights by Vincent Van Gogh. It portrays the feeling of carefreeness in this ever-changing world.
Van Gogh depicted the view at different times of the day and under various weather conditions, such as the sunrise, moonrise, sunshine-filled days, overcast days, windy days, and one day with rain through his work.
With Starry Nap, we wanted to bring a feeling that however turbulent or peaceful your day is going on or had gone, take a deep breath, lie down and let go of whatever is troubling you. We chose a rural setting along with Yellow Freshly Ploughed Farmland to further fuel the feeling of peace, calm and warmth.
